The Noise Diminishing
from Yonge-Eglinton Centre?
 

ARECA has learned the following information regarding the status of the building fans (as of April 15/05)

* The hardware has been installed and is functioning.
* They are waiting for an automated program to regulate the speeds.
* Due to the weather, they do not require the fan speeds to increase. (We will see what happens with warmer temps.)
* They anticipate installation of the program in the next two weeks.
* After the software installation they will be performing acoustic tests to confirm compliance.

* The City will commission staff to do an independent study.
