Emerald Ash Borers

While not in the ARECA at the moment, there are significant portions of Toronto where they are killing trees and causing the trees to be cut down.  Trees on private property will need to be removed at the property owner's expense.

Cost relief for homeowners with trees infected with EAB? 

There is a Notice of Motion seeking property owners to become eligible for a replacement grant/compensation.  This matter was considered by Council in September but referred to the Parks & Environment Committee.  This committee next sits on Oct. 11th.  Click here.
