Blight? The Owner of the derelict properties at Orchardview and Duplex has still not demolished the 6 derelict homes. Despite every assurance that this would be done it would appear that the owner is holding out until he has a revised development proposal that will allow him to build on the site. He has advised ARECA that he would like to use the same equipment for demolition andexcavation, in order to cut his costs. These pictures were taken in April, 2005 of the abandoned houses at the north-east corner of Duplex and Orchardview.
